In short
Call (800) 614-8388 Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central, or fill in the three-question form and we'll call you at a time you choose. Both are free. Email us at [email protected] for anything that isn't urgent.
What happens when you call
You don't need to have it figured out. Most people who call us don't. Here's the shape of the conversation, so nothing about it surprises you:
- We ask what's going on. What you've noticed, what's changed, and what your parent wants. Take your time; there's no script you have to follow.
- We tell you what fits. Which kinds of care make sense, what they cost where your parent lives, and what Medicare, Medicaid, or veterans benefits might help with. If the honest answer is "not yet," we'll tell you that.
- You decide what's next. If you want introductions to communities or agencies near your parent, we'll make them. If you'd rather sit with it, that's a fine answer too. We don't call your parent unless you ask us to.
Prefer we call you?
Three short questions—where you are, what kind of help you're thinking about, and the best time to reach you—and we'll do the rest.

Email and mail
Not urgent? Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you. Please don't send medical records or Social Security numbers—we don't need them, and we don't want them sitting in an inbox.

Before you reach out
Does it cost anything to call?
No. Our service is free to families. The communities and agencies in our network pay us a referral fee when they serve someone we introduce; you are never charged, and it doesn't change the price anyone quotes you.
What should I have ready before I call?
Nothing, really. It helps if you know your parent's ZIP code and roughly what you've noticed lately, but you can call without either. We'll help you fill in the blanks as we go.
Can I call on behalf of my parent?
Yes—that's most of our calls. You can start the search before your parent is ready to talk about it. We won't contact them unless you ask.
What if we just want information, not an introduction?
That's welcome too. Some people call to understand what's out there and then handle it themselves. Take what's useful and leave the rest.
